The Eleven that turned out today split into four Groups
- We raked and seeded the area adjacent to the repaired Path, which had taken much wear & tear when the Path was in such a sorry state. We thought it wise to put the Tape around it, to give the Seed a chance to germinate.
- Steps and Stobs were repaired/replaced on Tony’s Steps
- The Path work from last week in Park Bank Wood was carried on .
- A group of two mulched the apple trees with well-rotted manure and pruned a few “sky shoots .”
A survey of the tree nursery revealed several oaks more than ready for transplantation before the roots become entangled in the rough ground.
